Mingus Big Band - Rhino Records Release
Filmed, coordinated, recorded sound for this special live performance of the Charles Mingus Big Band. Rhino Records edited the footage and added animations, I helped develop the Jazz Workshop branding and created the Centennial logo.

Marketing Campaign

The Spleen - A Documentary by Sarah Simone
Although this doesn't feel finished to me and needs some editing, this is a look into the life of DIY venue / basement music scene in Oneonta, NY. The Spleen is a place full of music, love, hatred, laughs, and tears but all together it creates an interesting look at the music scene on a smaller scale, and you can draw your own conclusions. Attempting to capture the relationships between music, mental health, drug use, drinking, friendship dynamics, human connection, and the stress of putting on a live show. Much love to all involved.
Medicine - A documentary by Sarah Simone
Final Film project for Visions of Reality (Nonfiction Film Cine 471D) at Binghamton University. A somewhat experimental documentary about overcoming the shadows that are mental health issues, drug addiction, and losing more people than you thought you would ever even become close to in a college setting.
This shorter version of a longer length film I hope to finish soon is about my group of friends in college, those I have met at Binghamton University, and about the stigma of addressing mental health issues and drug addiction in the college setting. Thank you to all of you that have impacted my life, and thank you to all of you that helped me with this movie. This is only a first cut, and it’s a tad more on the experimental documentary side, but nonetheless, hope you enjoy, and I hope it starts a conversation that it is okay to have mental health issues, and that we as a generation need to start working together to address that. We also need to start working towards aiding our generations crippling drug addiction issues, especially to heroin.

Was brought onto this project to help a photographer branching into the video world. This was a music video I coordinated, shot half and half alongside another videographer, and edited. No Sleep / Alcopop represented artist BEST EX, also took promo photos for album release and album artwork. Included in Portfolio.

Added graphics and animation to an existing property marketing video, added new footage of construction and followed clients creative brief to speed up footage and pacing.

Red Cross Event Video - Advertisement
Using previous brand templates for graphics and adding materials to them, I created a JLL supports Red Cross advertisement for a Red Cross Event. Utilized JLL brand footage, stock footage, Red Cross stock footage, recorded voice over of a colleague, and revised and edited script.
Life Sciences Advertisement
An existing video was sent over for me to edit. The video needed to be cut down significantly, but we still needed to maintain voice over. I had to extract the sound, tried to limit the music behind the voice over as much as possible, replace with a similar bpm music to match the very faded under tone music and cut down the video to the new required time. I also added renderings and edited to tie in with the existing video style - which I thought was distracting and unflattering, but client decided to keep the sudden direction changes and flashing.
