Sarah Clare is a visual artist based in Yonkers,
New York. Sarah Clare graduated from Binghamton University with degrees in Cinema and Political Science where she specialized in Experimental Film & Theory. Sarah Clare was instructed by the likes of Vincent Grenier, Alexandra Cuesta, Tomonari Nishikawa, Daïchi Saïto, and Brian Wall. Sarah Clare learned Super 8, 16mm film, digital video, digital and film photography and sound production. She has experience with film festival coordination and programming in addition to her production experience. Sarah Clare's documentary "Elapse" placed 1st at the 2017 Binghamton University Film Show. Her photography has sold in galleries and featured in Pipe Dream Newspaper, TART Magazine, Impose Magazine, Groundsounds, and other online publications. Since graduating in 2017 she has grown her art into a wide-reaching freelance operation. From live shows to music videos, to portraits and events she has experience in catching the perfect moment and adapting to the ever-changing landscape of technology and aesthetics. Sarah's knowledge of branding from her job as a Graphic Designer has bled into her freelance work, often helping artists develop their visual voice and consistency for their social media and audience approach.  It has led to opportunities such as guiding The Mingus Big Band to  develop brand, logo and promotional material, and coordinating, shooting and archiving video/photos of special events and live performances. Sarah Clare's primary focus is on projects that relate to social activism, mental health awareness, addiction awareness, disability empowerment and musical projects. Some bands that Sarah has shot for include: Mingus Big Band, Reggie Workman (of John Coltrane's Band), Trio 3, Jason Moran, Vijay Ayer, Robin Wilson of Gin Blossoms, Drug Church, Kira Metcalf, It Came From Space, Zuli Jr,  Harley Flanagan (of Cro-Mags), Blackjeans, Eithermore, Loop Troupe, Francesca Blanchard, Siobhan Wilson, Restless Spirit, Bilge Rat, Doug G the Nightchild, Gnarly Chaplin, Stugots, Sharuka Dog, Lucky Cat Records and more.

Sarah Clare is currently a Graphic Designer/Motion Graphics Designer, Photographer, and Videographer for a Commercial Real Estate Company, in which she designs custom and branded decks, pitchbooks, property marketing deliverables, and internal and external marketing collateral for campaigns. She also produces, shoots, and edits videos for various business needs. As a member of the inaugural Marketing Inclusion Action Group at her company, she works with Marketing Leadership, Executives, and a team of committee members to lead workstream programs that aim to remove barriers to growth, revise hiring practices, and support career development to empower diverse employees. Through this Marketing Inclusion Action Group she is helping to educate and inspire the Marketing organization of her company to create a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment.
